The Walgreens restaurant Saga

Anyone wanna eat at the Walgreen's diner?
Starting off with the most well know restaurant on this list, Wag's was a chain diners started by well known drugstore Walgreen's. The chain was originally started in 1974, later sold to the Marriott Corp. in 1988, and was shut down by 1991. There's not much left from this odd concept other than the image seen above and a few pieces of memorabilia such as coffee mugs or menus.

Corky's was a chain of burger restaurants, that was also started by drugstore chain Walgreens, in 1968, it is currently not known when these restaurants closed, but according to their annual report from 1971 Walgreens was "curtailing expansion" of Corky's due to (as they put it) "apparent market saturation", but it also seemed that it was to focus more on Robinhood.
Now, what's "Robinhood" you might be asking yourself... Well,
Robinhood is another obscure chain of restaurants which was created by, you guessed it, Walgreens. They were a sit down restaurant chain that operated from 1968-1975. Why Walgreens out of all people wanted to be involved at all in the restaurant business? I'm not really sure.
