Funny enough this Montgomery Ward had a JCPenney store right next to it. Putting a Penney's next to a Wards is like putting a Walmart next to a Target.

The entrance to this store seems kind of odd. There's only one set of doors with one window on top. Also, this store looks just as old as the Wards (Kind of looks like an old W.T. Grant / Grant City store too). I wonder which store out of the two opened first?







This Montgomery Ward location closed when the entire company went out of business as whole in 2001.

JCPenney moved to a new location in 2005.
